I'm a Software Engineer at Progress Software, a global product-based company, where I specialize in building automated security compliance frameworks using Chef InSpec and Ruby.
Since 2021, I've been part of the Chef InSpec engineering team, responsible for converting industry-accepted security benchmarks such as CIS (Center for Internet Security) and STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) into policy-as-code — transforming manual audit checklists into executable, scalable, and verifiable InSpec controls.
My work sits at the intersection of security engineering, DevOps automation, and compliance-as-code — enabling organizations to achieve continuous compliance across hybrid and cloud environments. I focus on creating modular, maintainable control libraries, leveraging InSpec resources, metadata tagging, and CI/CD integration to provide real-time security validation and audit-ready reporting.
I'm deeply passionate about building intelligent applications using AI-assisted development. In my personal time and weekends, I leverage tools like Claude and other advanced AI platforms to design and build high-quality, production-ready apps.
Recently, I built Seervi Shaadi, a full-scale Android application and web platform crafted to serve the Seervi community — enabling seamless matrimonial connections with a clean, modern interface and efficient backend integration.
I also collaborate with clients on freelance projects, creating scalable and feature-rich applications using a modern tech stack, ensuring speed, scalability, and smart automation throughout the build process.
